Building a Rotation Watchlist for Thai Equity Sectors
Which sector symbols to track on the SET, how many lines belong on one page, and when to retire a name from your panel.
A rotation watchlist is not a stock screener output. It is a short list of sector symbols you will print every Sunday and mark the same way, week after week, until the relative strength story changes.
For SET-focused traders we suggest six to eight sector lines maximum on a single A4 sheet. More than that and the pencil annotations overlap by the third week. Include at least one defensive sector and one cyclical so you see capital moving between moods.
Retire a symbol when its relative strength line flatlines for four consecutive weeks — not when you get bored. Flatlined does not mean dead; it means leadership has likely moved elsewhere and your panel should reflect that honestly.
Keep retired symbols in a sidebar notebook with the date you removed them. Reviewing that log quarterly shows whether you cut too early or held too long.
